Well we just retained ULbrich and signed Sopo to a 5 year deal.
Boy we better find some talent in FA or I'm going to be very disappointed again.

Hey Boss, great to see some other 49er fans posting in the official team thread. Gets frustrating when people don't want to talk to you about team needs. I still wish we didn't sign Sopo, there's so many out there that can be a better quality pass rusher. I hope we pick up some free agents in the worse way. This team needs to get their fan base back or we're in for local blackouts this year. If the 49ers don't win, they may not be in the Bay Area if Santa Clara doesn't pass the stadium ballot.

 

What was Sopo's contract? I must have missed it earlier?????

Not bad? JUstin Smith can perform a lot better then that and get to the QB. Wasted signing, even if you call it cheap.

We need DL....how is this a wasted signing? it's not like we can't sign Smith bc of this.....If Smith plays LB for us we're going to need the big body DL up front to free him up.

I'm still holding hope that we slide him over to LE.....
