it's hard to say i have a top favorite. i enjoy most of them for different reasons. they're all different movies to me.

the ones that i've seen and love are:

    Fargo
    The Big Lebowski
    Miller's Crossing
    Barton Fink
    Raising Arizona

the ones that i like but don't love are:

O Brother Where Art Thou (that one's been growing on me more)
    No Country for Old Men
    The Man Who wasn't there

i really hated "Ladykillers." haven't seen "Bloodsimple" yet.

I hated O Brother Where Art Thou the first time that I watched. I saw it for a second time fairly recently, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Delmar made me laugh hysterically.

I've seen The Big Lebowski like a million times, but Fargo only 3 times. If I were to pop in one of their films besides No Country For Old Men, since I haven't seen it yet, it would be Fargo.

just watched "No Country for Old Men"

liked it, didn't love it.....didn't care for them not showing the main rednecks death. Was looking for a real battle that the entire movie was leading up to.

The last two nights I have watched No Country For Old Men and I Am Legend.

Loved them both. I really need to give NCFOM another watch to better understand the ending.

Memento, again. I could fill up a day just watching that, Boondock Saints, Fight Club, and Major League and be content with it.

Saw 'American Gangster' 2 nights ago, and Leatherheads last night. I thought the first was great, and the latter was pretty good too.

just watched "Sweeney Todd" and i have to admit i really enjoyed it. it took me a little bit to get used to the fact that the whole movie is done in song with very little actual talking, but the movie was twisted, violent and warped enough to keep my interest

that it was. i'd see it again soon, and i'm not a big fan of musicals for the most part, but it was so well done and strange that it didn't lose my attention at all

i ended up watching the movie again... definitely makes my Top 3 of 2007, though i still need to see "There Will Be Blood" and "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead"
