I found this in a article and thought it was pretty funny and could very will be true. http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFLDraft/Draft+Extras/2008/wwhi041608.htm
AS FAR AS THIS GUY COMPLAINING ABOUT HIS TACKLING, I THINK HIS WEEK AT THE SENIOR BOWL PROVED OTHERWISE.
What one of the guys says about weed is true. Do you think dealers give a crap about the age of the buyer? I also agree with DRC about the last name thing. If Cromartie hadn't had such a good year in the NFL and Rodgers Cromartie didn't have the same name, he'd be on par with Atuan Molden for notability.
TBH that's the sole reason why he's so hyped up. I have him as my borderline 3rd Best CB and the only way he'll be going for me is down.
I have to agree about the last name. But he'd still be good the way he's perfromed at the combine and such.
hes very talented, whether its the last name that made him that way or not hes very smooth and fast and has awesome ball skills. and yes he can tackle, hes not valuable in run support but he can tackle
Interesting, he has very raw talent. Jerry Jones on the other hand says he is "very interested" in drafting an athletic player like DRC. With him most likely being on the clock at #22, we might take him, depending on RB's/WR's left on the board.
I don't think he will be there at 22 now. He could be going as high the top 10. I think he will be a great player.
His last name is helping him creep up draft boards yes, but it isn't the sole reason. He is a good talent that exploded in Senior Bowl week. He should do alright in the NFL. Definitely won't be the 1st or 2nd CB taken though.
DON'T BE SO SURE ABOUT THAT. IT LOOKS LIKE MCKELVIN WILL BE THE FIRST CB OFF THE BOARD, BUT DRC COULD DEFINITELY BE THE NEXT ONE.
