Now we know why Angelo didn't draft a QB, he was waiting to sign undrafted FA from Southern Illinois. He went with the hometown boy, lol http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/huddleup/2008/04/bears-sign-sout.html After not drafting a quarterback, Jerry Angelo said the Bears would look to sign a couple undrafted free-agent. The Bears have lined up at least one, agreeing to terms on a standard three-year deal with Southern Illinois' Nick Hill. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound Hill started all 14 games for the Salukis in 2007. He completed 258 of 361 passes for 3,175 yards with 28 touchdowns and seven interceptions. "Were very excited about this opportunity for Nick,'' said agent Andrew Simms. "You always want your clients drafted. But when that doesn't happen, it's always about the next opportunity. With just two quarterbacks over there in Chicago, Nick has the opportunity to compete."
Who's JA? Do you mean Adande, or is there a Chicago local guy who you were referring to? I've never heard of this guy. There are better UDFAs who were signed (Ezra Butler, Erin Henderson, Carlton Medder, Ali Highsmith, Franklin Dunbar)
