I have to agree with Fricker. I got Eli Manning in the 12th Round and Brett Favre in the 15th Round last year. Mostly luck, I know, but it just shows that the QB drop off isn't as great as that of a RB or WR. Randy Moss is the obvious choice.
See...so QB's are least important. Unless you get Manning (and now Brady,) I don't take one before the 4th round...
funny thing is i drafted, Willie parker, Randy Moss, TJ Housh, Torry Holt, Adrian peterson in that order. And then i forgot what QB i had but i still rolled my league. I picked up LT like 5 weeks till the end. Mainly because guy in our league had so many injuries and wanted to win at least 1 game. Plus he wanted two valid keepers. In 2 of my leagues i was able to get Drew Brees in Week 6 because he epic failed early on and people got frustrated. There is always that 1 or 2 teams that drop a great player like a qb because they are not producing early. Go with Moss this is my Spoken Words in this thread, until your draft. Then i will probably be saying Wow Idiot i told you so, for when you take Turner over him.
Keep Turner and still select a RB in the first. I don' think we're going to be as bad as everyone thinks, but maybe I'm a homer. He's probably going to get 30 touches a game.
Now i can use my speciality. Normally i would say keep the running back, most likely to get points every week. But moss is your safest pick. even if he has half the season as last year thats tops with the rest of the wideouts in the league. Turner is not gonna get 30 touches a game, he isnt ready for that, plus that line is swiss cheese and unproven. you can get a back like jackson or addai at that pick, even larry johnson. thats the tip of the iceberg but i dont wanna give all my secrets away. best of luck this year.
more then likely the owners of those RBs you mentioned will have them kept, unless some one has 2 of them. But either way there is better backs out there. Even if Turner gets 30 carries it will be for 2.5 yds a carry, about 65-70 yds a game.
