Update: Post Icons Back Up

They don't have an icon. :damnpc:

I'm serious about doing our own icons if that would help? Myself, 86WARD and any other GFX artists who fancy helping.

The underlining on people's usernames has gone as well. It looked good with that.

 

I assume you have just taken down all the off topic icons for now to fit in with the rest of the football ones being down then all that will need to be created is ones for the football forums?

 

I think SRW said something earlier in the thread about why the format has changed a little bit because the icons had to come down.

 

I was thinking this, surely the "FYI" or "LOL" post icons aren't copyright but maybe they've been taken down so that the site is still in unison.

 

Just give me the word...Even if it is just a colored block...there are no copyright issues against colored blocks...right?!?

Yeah thats what I thought. It can't be too hard just making half a dozen new icons for the football forums.

 

What would happen if you got rid of the advertisements and accepted donations? Same difference?

Well to start I just meant the main ones on the forum home page.

 

You know what else is missing now? The team affiliations/favorites. Are those not allowed to be used either????? That royally blows!!! If those are just pulled down b/c of the icons, let's do something to get some kind of icons back up there. If I have to do all 33 myself, I will...

 

That's what I was after 86WARD, simple name of place with the team colours. Looks awesome. Maybe tell me what font you used, you do the AFC and I'll do the NFC?

 

It's a little bigger than the 50x20 that was on the site, but you get the idea.

I'd have to look again, I think the font was "Shuttle." I could probably have it done by this weekend, especially if you do half and I do half...

 

I could start on the NFC tomorrow and complete it by the weekend.

 

This sucks, but we survived it before. We'll be OK.

 

It would be great is SRW approved this. I could probably start tomorrow as I may be busy tonight. I could have it done at the absolute latest Sunday, but most likely by the end of this week.

Ok, yes everything was taken down last night and your screen names etc. look different, we are trying to reorganize things to make it look together, team icons, post icons, etc. SRW will be letting you all know so for right now please be patient, we don't like this any more then you all do, in fact my guess is we're just a tad more pissed off. If we need anything graphix wise we will notify you so please just try and go about the business of having fun here.

I am all for it. For continuity though we'd need them to be 50 x 20 pixels. Now the NFL icons are one thing....what about the NBA, MLB, NHL, Soccer and copyrighted logos in the entertainment forum? These are the icons that need replacing:

JJ was correct, they were all taken down (along with the favorite team icons and the images on the forum index) for continuity.

 

Damn, there's a load that need replacing. :icon_sad:
