Kicker Mike Vanderjagt, abruptly cut by the Cowboys during the 2006 campaign after signing a big-money deal in the offseason, has been unable to find work in the NFL since then. Vanderjagt reportedly will sign with the Toronto Argonauts, returning to the team for which he played through 1997, before jumping to the Colts. Source: ProFootballTalk.com
Is Canadian Football ever televised in the US? I'd like to watch it. I watch everything else, NFL, College, Arena, High School, Pee Wee...
It's really amazing to me that despite his piss-poor, cocky attitute he wasn't able to get a job with an NFL team. At one time he had the highest FG conversion % in league history, didn't he?
One-time wonder. He doesn't deserve the accuracy record. He's kicked like, 50 field goals. Someone like Gary Anderson, Morten Andersen, Matt Stover, or Jason Elam deserves it. They played for like a combined 60+ years.
don't forget the kick against the patriots where he rubbed his fingers together and mouthed 'money' then proceeded to miss it. i don't understand how this guy had the accuracy record at one point, he seemed to miss every clutch kick he's ever had to make
Comcast Sportsnet here in Baltimore showed a few games last year. I hope they do it again this year GO MONTREAL!!!!!!!!!
