I say Cornerback. They have to go up against great receivers each week, and it's so easy to get burned. You can't give them too little cushion, cause these guys can fly. But you can't give them too much cushion, or they'll just keep calling those little underneath, slant routes that go for 8 yards all day. Thoughts?

O-Line......all the different blocking schemes and blitz pickups plus the physical pounding you take every single play.

    Are you guys kidding me???

The hardest position in football, other than QB, is MLB.

now all of you guys may laugh but i think being a kicker is the hardest position for a few reasons:the pressure of a gw kick. Kickers score more than any other player. A life of a kicker is very brittle, can be cut at the drop of a dime. You try kicking a 30 yard field goal, let alone 50. And as a bonus, kickers do all of this while being the lowest paid position.

Dude, a kicker only has to be able to do ONE thing.

I understand the pressure situation, but that is not happening every time as he scores all those points...

I don't know that stat (some here will look it up, I'm sure), but I would say that about 80-90% of those points are scored within 30 yards.

They don't deserve as much money as football players.

O-Line. Probably the hardest position in the game. Imagine being that heavy when it's hot in Miami?

How was I supposed to know? That was in like March. Anyway, I think Left Tackle is the hardest position on the O-line because you're always protecting the QB's blind side (Right Tackle if your QB is Mike Vick, Chris Simms, Mark Brunell, Steve Young, Kenny Stabler, Boomer Esiason, Jim Zorn, Frankie Albert, Bobby Douglass, Matt Leinart or Jared Lorenzen).

I am going to go with Defense Linemen. They have to worry about rushing the passer, tackle the running back, knock down passes

Hardest position is Center. If the center doesn't call the right blocking schemes, nothing will work.

An equipment manager because that is what I was from 8th grade through my senior year of HS. Fun times and fond memories.:icon_cheesygrin: Hey somebody needs to clean the mud out of a running back's cleats before the next series. Somebody needs to dispense towels, water and help the refs switch game balls.

I'm going with cornerback, because fresh receivers can be thrown at you..and you're still out there, regardless of how many plays you just sprinted for.
