With the Phillies coming to town Tuesday, the Braves need Chipper to play....

 

Chipper going on the DL. We can't catch a freakin' break. I guess all of those injury free seasons during our pennant runs are catching up with us.

Lot's more baseball to be played. But I have a feeling the Braves won't be able to catch up to the Phils. Way too many injuries to our key players....

although i am thankful to have a chance to beat up on the braves it's not the same when you guys are missing so many players. i think i can deal with it though. :icon_cheesygrin:

 

And reports are in, Jeff Francouer has been sent down to Double-A. Congrats Francouer, thanks for an awesome first year.. and being in a slump since.

 

All I could say when I heard he was being sent down was "wow!" It's really sad - I thought he had the talent to stay in the show for the rest of his career. Hopefully he can work out some of his issues and come back....

 

WOOHOO!!! Braves tie it at 6 in the 8th vs the 'stros!!!!
