I find it funny that he could barely hit with the Padres. Now, he's hitting all these HR's with the Cubs. I use to be a big Jim Edmonds fan. But, i'm starting to wonder if he's on juice. No guy all of sudden becomes that good again.
Okay Moron, are u kidding???? He was on medication while under the Padres care, when he was traded they figured out that the medication was the reason why he was having a hard time at bat. So they took him off it and now he is playing good. He was always a good player are u implying that he was on juice when he was a card?
Edmonds was hurt when the Cards got rid of him and the whole time with the Pads.....he's finally getting healthy and it shows. He's not an everyday player over a whole season any more and the time off early in the year is paying dividends now....juice shouldn't even enter anyones mind.

I love Edmonds, I'll always think of the guy as a Cardinal. He gave St Louis all he had for a long time and had Larussa not been such an arrogant freaking pr**k he'd probably still be here. The Cards-Cubs have always had a "friendly" rivalry and I wish him all the luck in the world except against us. The main and really only reason I dislike the Cubs right now is Carlos Zambrano, I hate the guy.....he makes my stomach turn just looking at his cocky punk butt.
Jim Edmonds is like Gary Gaetti from 1998, released, then comes to the Cubs, and helps them to the playoffs, then the next year sucks butt.
It would be great if B88 could back up his words with evidence or maybe a link to a story talking about this or something.
His inability to hit for the Padres wasn't the only reason he was cut, his awful defensive play was a huge reason as well. He seemed to always be a step or a few slow.
