I was very dissapointed in the Bears defense last night. If JT O'Sullivan can pick that defense apart, I can only imagine what Peyton Manning can do to this defense.
J.T. will be picking apart alot of defenses this year. His delivery and indecisiveness is exactly what the system and the niners need. Plus, he puts the ball where it need to be and isn't afraid to send the ball downfield. If he see's what he likes he sends it giving other players the opportunity to make a play. Thats one thing Smith can't do, put the ball where a player can make a play..well, an OFFENSIVE player that is.
Frank Gore also carved up our defense because the Bears couldn't stop him for crap last night either.
Its preseason, defenses don't show any schemes until the regular season, so you usually won't see the right defense yet. I wouldn't be too worried unless it continues in week 1.

That play where Hester step out of the end zone then back in it and was tackled in the end zone, I was shocked the refs didn't call a safety.
The O-Line gave Orton time to throw the ball last night. Thats all our QBs need is time to throw the ball.
No personal attacks or flame wars outside of Fight Club please. If you have a problem with Barl go start a thread there and hash it out.
