Even with the key injuries I think the Eagles will still be the better team in week 1 and will beat the Rams. Desean Jackson should have a good game and look for McNabb to hook up with him often.Westbrook will have a good game on the ground and out of the backfield (I hope hes on my fantasy team :rollinglaugh: ) Eagles defense will keep the Rams offense in check. Its not the Rams of 99-2000 anymore its the Rams of 08.

And by the way - the state is called Missouri. Mizzou is a college. The Rams are the main Missouri team. The Chiefs can GTFO.

As for the Rams and Eagles game - it will be closer than people think. The Eagles will probably win since they're at home and Westbrook will probably have a big game, but I think the Rams could at least put up a fight. This isn't the same team from 2007. They had a ton of injuries last year and are healthy now, so they WILL improve.

Either way, I can't wait for Sunday! Football is back baby and I'm pumped for the game! Go Rams! Good luck to Philly - and let's hope for NO injuries.

 

I agree i see this game being close. Im not sleeping on a healthy bulger and a dangerous back like S jax. I do think we will win though just because our defense looks really solid and has the ablity to stop the rams weapons on offense. But you never know im just ready to watch some football.

 

I just hope the expected rain doesn't affect the game much.

 

Isnt most of the rain tommorow the only worry would be the condition of the field.

 

The condition of the field is a huge concern. There's a game being played on it tomorrow. It will be tough for them to get it back in shape. Especially if it continues to rain Sunday.

 

They need to stop having freaking college games on Saturday at the linc.... who's idea was it tramp the field out to U Penn (or is it Temple?)
