My Week 1 Thoughts

- The score doesnt do this game justice. We completly dominated every aspect of this game

- After a rough start, our pass D locked the heck down, and without an overwhelming pass rush. Edwards made mistakes, but he was still a non factor. Henry was a beast, and other than the PI/would have been TD (which was bad) Pac Man looked ready. Our pass D dominate with little pass rush and no Newman

- Our OL was absolutly dominate. And we are still missing a starter. We ran all day on Cleveland with 3 different HB's, and Romo had all day

- Felix is the real deal. Would have been nice to involve him in the passing game. But he doesnt just look like a Scatback, he looks like he could be a legit NFL featured back

-Crayton looked outstanding. Funny thing is he actually drew a tougher assinmant than Owens (Wright). The guy just looks much more comfortable as a #2

the only real issue i had was during the 3rd when we just couldnt stop that long drive
otherwise i was happy

 

The Defence could have been better. They did what they were asked. Nothing more, Nothing less.

Quality posting...right there. (specially coming from the fan of a team that will battle the 49es for the #1 overall pick).



Anyway...can't wait to see the pass defense in action once T-New is back. Henry and Pacman looked ok, but there's still room for improvement.

No complains about the offense. Superb as usual. It will be very tough to keep up with the Cowboys this year :icon_cool:

I was pleased overall with the game... wasnt pleased with the INT in the endzone. and like roy said the D could have been a lil stronger.. but not too shabby for game 1

Overall, I was pleased, except for the number of penalties. Those are going to have to come down. And, T. O. is going to watch those after the TD celebrations he does. One of those is going to come back and haunt the Cowboys at a very critical moment during a game. Watch and see.

 

Won't have to worry about those TO celebration penalties next week ; )

If everyone started their own thread about their team's game for 16 weeks, I could see it being a pain in the butt to sift through the threads. Just sayin'.

 

But everybody doesnt. So it aint a problem

And the thread is gone in a day or two anyway's, unless people keep posting in it for no reason
