i hate the yankees. cause the only kids in my class in grade school that were yankee fans never, ever were in the state of new york and only liked them because the yankees won all the time. so i dont hate them cause they win, but cause a bunch of kids were fans for that reason

I hate the yankees because of all of the douchebags that wear their gear and haven't even ever seen NY state or been on the east coast for that matter. Most of the so called yankees fans that I've had conversations with can't really have a educated discussion about baseball.

 

1)Biggest band wagon fan base in the world.
2)Excessively boastful for what essentially comes down to ownership outspending opponents.
3)Despite outspending everyone and being obnoxiously arrogant about how great they are, still suck a surprising amount of time
4)I hate EVERYTHING associated with NYC (even if you actually play in NJ)
5)As evidenced by your thread title, their fans are often illiterate

Because they think the world revolves around them. Look at this year they dident make the playoffs and they question the playoff system :icon_rolleyes: . Also there fans are annoying alot dont even know much about the team and only pay attention to them when there winning.
