Longo did one helluva job. The bull pen did an outstanding job as well. We might have something special here.
What a game. It's great to see the fans finally coming out to the games. Buddy of mine said I was on tv for about 5 seconds. Have to watch the game later.
Me too!!! :icon_cheesygrin: I guess I have officially become a Rays bandwagon fan!!!! I have been to a ton of their games over the past 10 years, and I have never seen such enthusiasm by people for this team as I have seen this year. I was at St. Pete beach last weekend, and I've never seen so many Rays hats and shirts on people in my life!!! It's so awesome. It reminds me of when the Bucs switched their logo from "Bucco Bruce" to their current logo. They immediately started winning, and now the Rays have, too, after their logo transformation. upton homer and a crawford hit scores longoria and tampa has taken thier first lead of the series in the third after a floyd homer gives tampa a 2 run lead, Boston has come back with 3 solo HR's in the 6th to take a 6-5 lead, pedroia hit his second of the game and youklis and jason bay each has hit a HR in the 6th as well
longoria double scores pena and gives tampa back the lead 7-6 crawford singles on lopez and tampa has their 2 run lead back 8-6 what a great game!!! bosox get a run back in the 6th trail 8-7 heading to the top of the 8th boston with 2 men on and no one out and youklis hits into a double play, huge play there for Tampa although it's not over yet man on third 2 outs for jason bay who has 4 rbi's in this game and 8 two out rbi's in the post season and a wild pitch scores the tying run, what a hecked up way for the sox to tie the game both teams held in check in the 9th as we go into extra innings
