Snow Angels - 3.75 of 5 stars
I thought how it was written and shot was excellent for the story. I loved how they showed the good and bad in every character without doing it in an over-the-top Crash style. It was much more subtle and realistic in their daily interactions with others for the most part. I thought Rockwell, Beckinsale, Sedaris, and a few others did an excellent job. Some are going to find it slow and boring, but I'm not one of them.

 

nice, i have that one from Netflix. just haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but it looks like something i'd like

 

i dont knwo if ytou would consider it a movie or not, but i just watched the bruce springsteen live in new york concert from 2001. he is definately one of the best live performers of all time

they took out the comic book cut outs in this new Hulk movie and we still have critics

This hulk movie was the best one of them all, I loved it, they even used more of his powerful moves in this one, then they did in the last one

I agree to a point, I loved the part when the Empire put the rebellions in there place :icon_cheesygrin:

has anybody checked out "The Strangers?" i was thinking about netflixing that one

 

I haven't seen it yet, but it's my blockbuster queue. I probably will get to it next week or the week after.

 

I'll be watching it tonight after I go see Saw V.
General consensus from my friends who have seen it say its pretty good, but nothing special.

 

I watched a movie called "Funny Games" the other night, it was okay... Had potential to be a good movie but it just dissapoints.

 

Funny Games sucked butt Roy.

And to top off the total sucktitude of the whole thing, I lost the copy that Netflix sent me so now I'm only getting 2 movies at a time.

I hate that freaking movie so bad.

i think the main reason why i actually thought "Funny Games" was decent was the performances. i think a downfall of that movie was it was trying to be too clever for its own good, but the actors were really great in it, so i ended up liking it in the end. the killers were terrifying in a very "Clockwork Orange" type of way

i'm hoping to get "The Strangers" soon from Netflix



watched "The Prestige" again. i love this movie. gets better with each viewing

let me preface by saying that I liked 1,3, and even 4, hated 2

5 absolutely sucked, it was so obviously leading to an ending, and then it ended that way. There was no twist and they tried to make it seem like a twist, even though it was so freaking obvious.

There is definitely going to be another one and probably more than 1. Damn I am pissed that I wasted a friday night for that CRAP!

 

could have been worse, you could have been stuck at a high school dance you didnt want to go to in the first place :icon_rolleyes:

 

Saw Lars and the Real Girl last night. An amazing movie. I really thought it was going to be a chick flick, and maybe it is in a way, but if that's the case, it's the only chick flick I have ever seen that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Also watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off again. Ah memories. I used to actually use the clammy palms trick.
