Which franchise is worse off? Only count the last 5 seasons, this season and how the team is positioned for the next 5...

That's hard to do...go back 5 seasons, and then try to figure out 5 seasons ahead...I was going to vote for the Chiefs until I saw that.....cause we'll be rid of Carl after next season, and hopefully, Herm too. I think we're going to improve a whole lot once that happens....but I honestly don't know which one is worse off in the long run...going back 5 seasons, you'd have to say Raiders, but looking ahead 5, who knows where they'll be then?

past five years I would say the raiders overall. 1st pick two years ago 4th last year and poised for another top 5 pick this year. it traded away a #23 pick in wastington to the ravens for a 4th, and in 04 it drafted the next big o tackle who is now a mediocre guard. The only bright spot was drafting justin fargas.

I'd say the Raiders. Reason being...they have the worst win loss record in the last 6 seasons (present included) and in the future, because of the over spending on free agents, the trading of draft picks, the potential free agents to leave...they really have nothing going for them...

    I went with the Lions.

The AFC West won't be down and out for long!

But he probably won't make it another 5 years.

For some reason, I think that rumor could actually catch on.

disgusting, but it sounds so realistic.

As long as Al Davis owns the Raiders they are in the worst shape. The Raiders "were" a great franchise but I think they face the longest road back to any form of decency and as much as I've always loved to hate the Raiders, I always respected their talent and drive to win.....where has that gone?

Well I hope you guys are wrong about the Raiders.

I can't wait until the AFC West rises to dominance once again.

Also I like having the healthy competition/rivalries mean something, not be a footnote on Sundays.

Davis has the ability to heck up every player/coach who comes to the team in no time. He's running that organisation like a dictator and didn't let the coaches do their job.

I'd have to go with the Raiders to, simply because of Al Davis. Until he's gone there going to have a hell of a time getting a credible coach.....among other reasons stated here already.

of that list the lions most liekyl have the best chance to turn it around fast with all of the open cap room we will have this offseason and next plus the tons of high picks we have with the right GM it could be fast

Kind of sad that the only winless team is still considered better than the Raidahs
