I think it's pretty obvious that Jerry Rice is No. 1.

I guess I go with Marvin. Close though. I'll put 11, some of whom shouldn't really be there but what the hell, ya know?

John Stallworth could be listed there. He was as good or better than Swanny.

I think there are a lot missing from this list:

    • Fred Biletnikoff
    • Raymond Berry
    • Charlie Joyner
    • John Stallworth
    • James Lofton
    • Art Monk

Typically I would say Marvin Harrison...however, Don Hutson dominated during an era when the pass wasn't popular and set records that stood for 40 something years. He also played on the other side of the ball. Anybody that can score 4 TD's and kick 5 XP's in a quarter is alright in my book.

Hutson revolutionized the game. Many, if not all of the players on that list and any others candidates you all can think of would not have had the impact on the league that they did and do thanks to Hutson. The forward pass then (pre-Hutson) was about as common as the reverse is today, Hutson helped make it not only a key component of the game, but also made the WR position just as relevant and important as the RB. If it wasn't for Hutson, we might still be watching grinding running games for 60 minutes, with the occasional pitch or "trick play" forward pbutt.

Don Hutson as previously mentioned. Ahead of his time and a lot of his records still stand. Consider the way the game is now where it's being shaped into a passing league and Hutson was dominant.
