Rookie quarterbacks Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco are attempting to do something rarer than a 2,000-yard rushing season. In NFL history, only two quarterbacks have won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. The first was Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the other was Titans quarterback Vince Young. I don't think Flacco is impressive.. I don't get it. I looked at his stats and didn't see much.. Matt Ryan is definitely > than.
stats don't tell the whole story. the ravens' offense is not pass-oriented. watch him play, then you'll understand how he doesn't play like a rookie. btw the title of this thread is SO biased lol
Lets see how he does this upcoming week. I like Ryan better then him right now, only cause Ryan is asked to do more. CJ gets my vote over both of them though .. Still alot of games left .. too early to tell.
Let's see..... Joe throws the ball... Joe hands the ball off.... Joe catches passes.... Joe runs for TD's... What's that Ryan kid do again? Anywho...way too early to start talkin' about any of this crap.
I we are talking QB'sn general, I would go with Ryan - he doesn't have the D to back him up like the Ravens.
Flacco is playing much better now than he was at the beginning of the season. In his first 5 games he threw 1 TD and 7 interceptions against the Bengals, Browns, Steelers, Titans and Colts. Since he's reversed those numbers and has thrown 6 TD and 1 INT. Houston, Cleveland, Oakland, Miami...not exactly the cream of the crop when it comes to NFL Defenses. With the Giants, Eagles, Steelers, Redskins, Cowboys and Jaguars on the schedule, it will be very interesting to see how he has progressed.
oh really? then why did they put up 41 points last week and 37 the week before and 29 the week before and 27 the week before? I know the defenses weren't anything special, but there's NO way we put up that many points against ANY team with Billick and Boller.
