Offense: Deangalo Williams Defense: Jon Beason OROY: Jonathan Stewart DROY: Charles Godfrey Special Teams: Rhys Lloyd Comeback player OTY: Julius Peppers & Jake Delhomme split it. I gotta give our O-line alot of credit too... with alot of injuries... guys like Jeremy Bridges and Hangartner have really stepped up.
oh good old rhys lloyd, huh? howzatt bloke doing down there in Cahrolina? (he's a british ex-ravens kickoff specialist).
After tonight's game, I'm ready to put Marion Barber up there in the conversation. Once Felix finally gets healthy our running attack will be scary again :icon_eek:
NY GIANTS OFF- Earth, wind and fire (sorry Eli) DEF- Justin Tuck- Keep on double teaming him ST- John Karney- Who would of thought INJ- Osi
offense is MeMo and its not even close defense is woodley just because hes unblockable and lets harrison go free alot more than he should be able too....harrison missed woodley when he was out for a game. ill give troy a close second
Offense - This is tough, because until Thigpen got in the games TG and DBowe were still having really good games with Huard and Croyle. So at this point, It's a toss up between these guys. Defense - With all the injuries on the D it's too hard to call. No one has been consistent and outstanding all season. Special Teams - After the agony of Drummond last year, Savage, while mediocre, wins this hands down. Coaching - Gailey. He finally told Herm to STFU the last few games and let the freaking players gain some confidence by using the skills they have to make some damn plays. That means as much, if not more than winning games to young guys.
Offensive: Tie. Mattie Ice and Roddy White are my Offensive MVPs. I say tie because without Roddy, Ryan wouldn't be as successful, and without Ryan, Roddy's not seeing the opportunities he has. This is a tandem the NFL will be dealing with for a long time. Defensive: John Abraham, second in sacks in the NFL, and makes this defense work. Notice when he's not in, we struggle. Special Teams: None, I can't think of anyone really Injured Player most missed? : Seem to be doing fine
Offense - No doubt Moore. Did a great job filling in for Parker. Defense- I could not pick between Harrison and Woodley. Both are monsters. ST- no one.
Offense - Hines Ward. Moore is a close second at this point but his numbers will start to decline with Parker back. Ward doesn't have flashy numbers, but he has been clutch this season. This was the year Holmes was supposed to take over as the #1 guy. He hasn't. Defense - Ike Taylor. He's been as shut down as they come. He has no interceptions but he has had very few passes thrown his direction and very few completions thrown his direction. Very underrated. A close second would be Polamalu, Woodley, Harrison, Smith, Farrior. Any one of those guys is a good choice for Defensive MVP. Harrison is definitely in the discussion for NFL DPOY. Don't know if he'll get it... Special Teams - Greg Warren. No doubt.
That is very true about Hines. He has made some very key catches this year...and some BEAUTIFUL hits.
Offence- Romo Defence- Jay Ratliff. Ware has been more productive, but it just seems when a play needs to get made, Rat is right there. ST- Nick Folk. Its nice to know your kicker can boot that 50+ yarder when time expires
i really like the ike taylor pick, hes been a favorite player of mine for a while and i dont really have many of those lol....however i think that all of our corners have played very very well whether it be ike, deshea, mcfadden, gay...they all come up real big for us but really it all starts with the linebackers and our secondary struggled last year with haggans in there, harrison was still playing at a probowl level but haggans was always that guy that could almost get there but not quite....we put a stud like woodley in there and they are both having probowl seasons in sacks but also in coverage, it makes our dline look amazing against the run and our secondary amazing against the pass, point is 34s start with the LBs cause they are the playmakers. something else that should be pointed out is keisel and how he has really stepped up his game, while i would say aaron smith is a master of his position keisel was a ? for a while but has really learned the spot. also nick eason was the worst player on this team last year, worse than mahan and hes stepped up big time...and big casey has been one of the most dominate players in the game again this year after he gave us a preseason scare he really got his crap together...basically this d is stacked lol you now how i feel about ward, but he has stepped up his game alot, sometimes i think ben looks at him to much and throws some risky passes but the oline needs to get sorted out...i dont think we'd be where we are without moore though, while i think washington has played well enough that he would be a solid option for us at WR if ward was out at all. special teams i would go with sepulveda :icon_sad: lol
Offence - Aaron Rodgers It was up to either Jennings or Rodgers. I went with Rodgers due to his performance when a lot of people were expecting him to struggle. Defence - Charles Woodson/Nick Collins They tie the team and the NFL for picks. Pretty good going, I think Special teams - Will Blackmon 2 return TDs. Who else?
OFF: Desean Jackson DEF: Asante Samuel ST: Sav Rocca or Desean Jackson But in reality, based on this years' lackluster performance, there are no Eagles MVP's this year.
