it's all good. it is a strange one. in fact, i'm surprised i ended up liking it as much as i did. i'm a fan of the director's. loved "Blade II" and the two "Hellboy" movies

 

I loved Pan's Labyrinth. Guillermo del Toro is awesome.

Watched a movie called King Arthur the other night wasn't too bad.

 

I rewatched two movies that I love today, Talk To Me and Tropical Thunder.

 

finally saw "Tropic Thunder." very funny stuff. wasn't sure if they could pull it off at first, but the movie did not disappoint. Robert Downey Jr. stole the show

 

Indeed he did. Matthew McConaughey's character caring so much about the Tivo really cracked me up as well.

 

lol yeah the Tivo crap was great. Im gonna watch this movie again. Jack Black jonesing.

 

did you guys see the theatrical or unrated? i saw the unrated and was wondering how it compares. i know they added 20 minutes.

i'm definitely going to have to pick up this one :icon_cool: and the TiVo part was really funny

 

I really want to see the 2nd Hellboy movie, but want to watch it on Blu Ray. Every time i get to the movie store, it's rented out.

300 is on for about the 300th time. It sort of loses its specialness after the 5th time you saw it.

 

it's worth waiting to see it on Blu Ray. it looks gorgeous

 

"There Will Be Blood." i know a lot of people didn't like this movie, but i really enjoy it. love the cinematography and a great performance by Daniel Day Lewis

 

I loved "There Will Be Blood" The story was awesome, I freaking hated the preacher and loved it when Plainview explains to him how he screwed him. I drink your milkshake!!

 

hell yeah... one of the best and bizarre ending sequences. i also liked it when he first beat the preacher up when he was asking when he would be paid

 

"Clockers." i freaking LOVE this movie, no matter how many times i see it. one of Spike Lee's finest. the guy who wrote the screenplay/book also did a lot of writing for "The Wire."

funny thing about your avatar is that the ending of "There Will Be Blood" really felt like a scene from "Clockwork Orange," like when Alex beat that girl
