If You Could Pick An MVP Of The Season Thus Far

I don't quite understand why so many have Brees as the front runner. His team is only 5-5 and while he should be in the discussion I definitely think he's behind guys like Warner and Portis. Maybe even Turner or Ryan now.

 

After watching that battle last night between the Giants and Cardinals I have to say Jacobs. We would have put that game away way earlier had Jacobs been in there.

 

Because Brees has crap around him and his team is 5-5. If Brees has Quan and Fits to throw to I bet his team would be more like 8-3 and he would have simular stats to what Brady had last season.

 

He still has a decent set of recievers but I just can't see how anyone could get MVP on a team that probably won't make the playoffs.

 

If Portis keeps it up, it'll be him.

this is a first in this thread, but I go with Eli Manning. Every since the end of last season, he's been a different QB then he was his first 3-4 years in the league. I Know he prob won't win it, or even be considered for it, but he's def not getting the attn he deserves this year, by completing a high percent of passes, limiting mistakes and not turning the ball over.

 

Agree. I'm still sticking with Kurt Warner right now...

warner. close between him and brees, but warner has more wins (it's not really about wins, only numbers, but this is the tiebreaker i guess). peterson could also be a candidate, but it's a QB year.
