I seriously don't see anyone stopping the G-Men. Too well balanced of a football team. LMAO! That too, maybe.
For once you actually mention something right RF52 about the ones that are officially out of the playoffs, but you missed the chiefs and the Rams here is how I see it AFC: The Teams that would be in the playoffs right now 1. Titans 11-1, home field advantage, first round bye, division winner 2. Steelers 8-3, first round bye, division winner 3. Jets 8-3, division winner 4. Broncos 6-5, division winner 5. Colts - 7-4, wildcard #1 6. Ravens 7-4 wildcard #2 Still in the hunt 7. Patriots - 7-4 8. Dolphins 6-5 9. Bills 6-5 10. Chargers 4-7 11. Browns 4-7 12. Jaguars 4-7 13. Texans 4-7 14. Raiders 3-8 15. Bengals 1-9-1 (a Loss or a Win by the Ravens and Colts and they are officially out) Officially Out of the Playoff hunt 16. Chiefs 1-10 NFC: The Teams that would be in the playoffs right now 1. Giants 10-1, home field advantage, first round bye, division winner 2. Buccaneers 8-3, first round bye, division winner 3. Cardinals 7-5, division winner 4. Bears 6-5, division winner 5. Panthers 8-3, wildcard #1 6. Cowboys 8-4, wildcard #2 Still in the hunt 7. Redskins 7-4 8. Falcons 7-4 9. Vikings 6-5 10. Saints 6-5 11. Eagles 6-5-1 12. Packers 5-6 13. 49ers 3-8 (only shot they have is Division champion if they win the rest of there games and Arizona loses the rest then they got in, but one win by Arizona, then the Cards win the division) Officially Out of the Playoff hunt 14. Rams 2-9 15. Seahawks 2-10 16. Lions 0-12 Steelers win over the Ravens and Browns, and even the Titans is a good possibility don't see the Steelers losing more than 3 games in this list
Here are the current standings. AFC: 1. Titans 11-1 - home field advantage, first round bye, division winner 2. Steelers 9-3 - first round bye, division winner 3. Jets 8-4 - division winner, wildcard #1 4. Broncos 7-5 - division winner, wildcard #2 5. Colts - 8-4 - wildcard #3 6. Ravens 8-4 - wildcard #4 In the hunt: 7. Patriots - 7-5, 8. Dolphins 7-5, 9. Bills 6-6, 10. Jaguars 4-7 11. Texans 4-7 12. Chargers 4-8 13. Raiders 3-9 Officially eliminated: 14. Browns 4-8, 15. Chiefs 2-10, 16. Bengals 1-10-1, NFC: 1. Giants 11-1 - home field advantage, first round bye, division winner 2. Buccaneers 9-3 - first round bye, division winner 3. Cardinals 7-5 - division winner, wildcard #1 4. Vikings 6-5 - division winner, wildcard #2 5. Panthers 9-3 - wildcard #3 6. Cowboys 8-4 - wildcard #4 In the hunt: 7. Falcons 8-4, 8. Redskins 7-5 9. Eagles 6-5-1 10. Bears 6-6 11. Saints 6-6 12. Packers 5-7 13. 49ers 4-8 Officially eliminated: 14. Rams 2-10 15. Seahawks 2-10 16. Lions 0-12 notes: The Raiders could actually still win the division, if they win all of their remaining games, and Denver loses all of their remaining games, and the Chargers win no more than two games....the Browns, even though they have a better record than the Raiders, are officially eliminated because they cannot win their division and at best can tie the Ravens and Colts at 8-8, and lost to both teams....the Titans, Giants and Cardinals are this close but have yet to clinch a playoff spot.
A lot can still change between now and the end but I like where the Steelers stand right now. Especially with the defense playing so well.
I think in the nfc its going to be the panthers and falcons butt the wildcards. Dallas has a tough schedule skins are a bit overrated and the eagles would have to win out and even then its unlikely.
Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Strength of victory. Strength of schedule. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. Best net points in common games. Best net points in all games. Best net touchdowns in all games. Coin toss Its actually division not confrence in which i think atlanta has the edge
It means you are spending way too much time thinking of playoff scenario's at this point in the season
It means that the teams that have played each other and have played against the same opponents with the best record in all those scenarios combined will make the play offs. If that doesn't make sense, I don't apologize.
The tie could come in handy lol If we are 10-5-1 and the other team is 10-6 we would go in but its not going to come down to that lol.
