with the recent happening in NYC do you think the NFL will suspend P Burress and for how long. shoyld he even be suspended.
My vote was 8-16 games but it's too early to tell. Plax is not due in back in court until March 31st, thats a long ways away. It was funny seeing Drew Rosenhaus on MNF last night pleaing for the Giants to show some mercy on Burress. The Giants might have a little more mercy on him then the law will. Instead of illegally carrying a gun, why not hire a body guard? It's not like Plax can't afford to hire a body guard with the millions of dollars he's got anyway.

I agree with Packerboy about it being his first offence. In a way though, I guess it depends on the court case. If he's all clear, then I'm sure the suspension will not be all long. If he gets found guilty on whatever, the NFL is sure to take a tougher stance.
4 games sounds about right....I'd be more concerned with the legal proceedings if I were him though......if he gets the 3+ years they want to give him his career will be over anyway.
Too early to tell but 4 games is probably what he'll get if there's a suspension at all. As others have stated the courts may take care of that suspension for him.
