  1. Mr. D

    Mr. D WINNING!!

Dallas has played 10 games within the conference and won 6 of them

    6-4 .600 Percentage

Atlanta has only played 8 games within the conference and won 5 of them

    5-3 .625 Percentage

    so that would mean

    NFC:

    1. Giants 11-1 - home field advantage, first round bye, division winner
    2. Buccaneers 9-3 - first round bye, division winner
    3. Cardinals 7-5 - division winner
    4. Vikings 6-5 - division winner
    5. Panthers 9-3 - wildcard #1
    6. Falcons 8-4 - wildcard #2

It's different for teams in the same division which is what RF52 was going by...ESPN is correct...RF52 is wrong.

no i said it goes by conference but I just looked at the fact that dallas has more wins than atlanta in the conference and forgot about the WLT percentage. i knew it was conference i just did the math wrong.

    16. Bengals 1-10-1

    NFC:

    14. Seahawks 2-10 - Seahawks beat Rams
    15. Rams 2-10 - Rams lost to Seahawks
    16. Lions 0-12

notes: The Raiders could actually still win the division, if they win all of their remaining games, and Denver loses all of their remaining games, and the Chargers win no more than two games....the Browns, even though they have a better record than the Raiders, are officially eliminated because they cannot win their division and at best can tie the Ravens and Colts at 8-8, and lost to both teams....the Titans, Giants and Cardinals are this close but have yet to clinch a playoff spot.

    If:
Atlanta and NYJ would have beat Denver, you're looking at a Wide open AFC West, but Denver handled business when they needed to and have pretty much sewn it up.

Your career ended that day my friend...lol.

With the Atlanta loss, the Cowboys are currently in the playoffs. Redskins win, I believe they take that last slot...they lose, the Cowboys are in for the moment...

Anyone know how NE has the tie breaker over the Fins if they've both split their games?

Now the Jets. Fins and Pats are in a 3 way tie....it's a clusterheck.

I thought conference record was the next tie break....Miami is 6-4 .....NE is 5-5

    Division Teams, I believe, goes:

    Head to Head
    Division Record
    Conference Record

So maybe NE has a better division record?

    Here you go DD...

NE is 3-2 in the division...Miami is 2-2...

  11. dolphindude13

    dolphindude13 Jack Of All Trades

Nope, Miami beat Buffalo today to go 3-2 in the division same as NE.....yet Fox still showed them ahead of Miami with the tiebreakers.

damn, conference record is the 4th tiebreak....that's bullcrap.....common opponents should be behind that.

crabtree is easily #1, but with millen gone, I would have to think they don't draft him #1 overall. That would be a ton of money locked in one position, not even the lions are that dumb. Are they?
