I watched a couple of movies today:

Burn After Reading
It was good, but I was a little disappointed since my expectations for the Coen brothers are so high.

Get Smart
Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, but I liked it more than I though I would have. Anne Hathaway is so hot.

 

I thought Burn After Reading was awesome...

Can't wait for Pineapple Express to be released next week.

 

Watched Lars & The Real Girl on the recommendation of a friend.

It was so intensely awkward & then I cried for like an hour. What the hell. I can't decide if I liked it or am just being a stupid girl.

 

I still haven't seen Burn After Reading, hope it lives up to the Coen brothers reputation.

Just finished watching Pineapple Express for about the 20th time. It was the first time my cousin had seen it, and he laughed as hard as me...

It was definitely good. With some of their past work though, I came in with expectations way too high.

I liked it a lot. I didn't cry like a stupid girl, but it's a good film. Gosling's a good actor.

 

Drop the act, Dawk. We all know you're deeply in love with Ryan Gosling.

Just finished Duck Soup--definitely made me laugh. There was so much going on every scene I barely knew who to watch!

I repeat my admittedly biased recommendation though..... If you liked Casino Royale then watch it... it's good. Not AS good.... but good

 

I wouldn't say deeply, but I'm a fan. I'm glad you liked Duck Soup.

I watched The Godfather today for the first time in many years. Classic.

 

Hard Candy was one hecked up movie, incredible performance by Ellen Page. Incredible. The movie was well written and shot. there are a couple of holes but all movies have holes if you look for them, but all in all, excellent movie. I went back and forth between liking and hating both main characters. I definitely recommend it.

 

Watching "Burn After Reading" now.

One hour in and it's enjoyable, but I have only laughed twice.

Still a very interesting plot though...

I just got my biggest laugh of the movie.

I agree with all of this.

I watched Hancock this afternoon. I thought it started off interesting enough, but it went downhill big time after the reveal of Charlize Theron's character.

 

Mallrats, with commentary. Kinda love this movie.

I do love that movie, except the dude that is the main character, Jason Lee's friend, what a douchebag. I pretty much loved the whole rest of the movie, even Ben Affleck, but that fairy hecker who had zero balls needed a bat to the knees.
