I think its awesome that we kept a great back like peterson to 83 yards and thats with that 1 40 yard run. Eagles run D was awesome the whole defense was pretty damn good. I think we have a good chance vs the giants jacobs is no peterson so i like our chances.
Today felt like a lot more like survival than victory, but I'll take it. Once again....why the lack of Buckhalter???????
I couldn't agree more. The run game was horrible and while I was glad Reid didn't give up on it altogether, I wishe he would have 1) Gone off-tackle more. 2) Given Buckhalter a lot more touches. The guy had what, two hand-offs in a row in the first half (one of them being our best run of the night) and that is all he got. I really hope Andy wises up and uses him more often in the Meadowlands next week.

in games where I wish he would go off tackle or pitch it more, he goes up the gut all the time. and then in games where I think we would have success up the gut, he continues to pitch it. Sometimes, I really don't like how the coaches stick with a gameplan, even if the gameplan isn't working great. It was like since pat williams was not playing, the Eagles felt they could ram it up the middle, but when it wasn't working, they didn't make the adjustment. Also, I think the Eagles only blitzed 14 or 15 times, that's a bunch, but I thought there would be more, they are going to need to dial that up a bit more against Eli and the gang` Our third down defense played much better in the second half and is going to be needed again next week
Even though the Eagles couldn't get the run going, except for a couple runs by Buckhalter, it was still encouraging to see Reid not give up on it going into the 4th quarter.
