I know your not a baskett fan and I can't say I don't understand why but to compare him to Kissman is insulting.
Eli is going to get owned just like T jax and romo did. Romo was in such bad shape he collapsed in the shower and T jax got slammed out of his shoes by clemons.
The Giants probably aren't going to get pushed around as bad as they were last time they played the Eagles because they are much more rested, but the Eagles pretty much dominated both sides of the ball. I see the Eagles winning a close hard fought battle, but the Giants winning wouldn't at all surprise me either. Both teams will enter full of both hate and respect. It should be another great Eagles-Giants game. A loss will sting the loser more than just a regular playoff defeat. This is what the NFL playoffs are about!
I think Sportsguy is a Giant fan to. I'm taking the Eagles in this game....don't know why, just a hunch and Westbrook is probably my favorite player outside of the Fins.
giants, which is surprising for me to say since i really didnt think they would even make the playoffs before the season. eagles dont deserve to be in the playoffs, how the hell the stars aligned on that december day ill never know.
yeahhhh so? this isnt the steelers vs eagles....you act like i have any faith in the steelers at all, i hope they win but one and done seems very likey to me
What NFC team deserved to be in the playoffs instead of the Eagles? Any other team that didn't make it didn't do so because they hecked up more. Why would a team that didn't deserve to make the playoffs have a win during them?
i think the ncf should just have 5 representatives this year lol. i just cant believe that a late season loss to the redskins and a tie to the bengals=playoff berth
what about the giants makeing it at 8-8 2 years ago. Our record dident show were a good team but we definitly deserve it. Who can you say has played as good football as the eagles lately. 5 out of the last 6 counting the playoff win. And our defense is the best ranked in the nfc so how do we not deserve it.
Well if we're just looking at select games, then let's analyze all the teams in the playoffs right now. Giants - Lost to Browns Chargers - Lost to Bills and beat Kansas City twice by a combined two points (as close as you can get to tying without doing so) Cardinals - Lost to Redskins Titans - Lost to Texans So by that logic, that's more than half the current playoff teams that don't deserve to be there. But you can take it a step further and say that the remaining teams that do deserve to be there (Ravens, Panthers, Steelers) have lost to at least one of those teams above. So do any of these teams really deserve to be there? Should we cancel the Super Bowl this year? You can't say a team doesn't deserve to be a playoff team based solely off of two teams they lost to/tied. At least not without taking other factors into account, such as how competitive the division they played in was, what teams they beat, and how they finished the season in order to claim that playoff spot. Saying the Eagles don't deserve to be in the playoffs because parity exists in the league is a poor argument.
It's only Thursday (barely), but I've been "feeling kind of Sunday" all week. EDIT: Sorry for the double post. I always forget there's no auto-merge in gameday threads.
Plus, the Cowboys nor the Bucs deserve it, because otherwise they would have done something about it.
