The "I Just Watched This Movie" Thread.

Got to say, the last movie I watched and really enjoyed was Hancock!

I just watched Pineapple Express, after your advice - I will watch it again. Something is totally hecked up with the movie or my DVD player though, the lips didn't match the sound - or did they intentionally do that? lol :dontknow:

Next on my list is Lakeview Terrace - anyone see this yet, and is it worth BUYING, or should I just rent it?

 

The lips should match the voices.

I can't watch movies where that happens.

We tried both versions of the movie, the theatrical one started out ok, then in the middle, all of the sudden - it started again - maybe we screwed up our surround sound when we got the new dvd player? Watched Hancock and Sarah Marshall with no issues though - maybe just a bad disk and I should exchange it? :dontknow:

Does your DVD player say DivX on the front?

If so I can get you a copy to watch tonight...

Back to Lakeview Terrace... anyone seen it, I love Samuel L. Jackson, and the previews look awsome.

 

Sometimes the lips don't match because the audio is faster then the video. Some stereos will let you delay.

 

If they are out of sync then that's an audio/video interleave issue on the disk.

I'm gonna get a copy of that movie right now.

Haven't seen it, maybe I'll rent it tomorrow. Last movie I watched was the Spirit which I enjoyed.

I've seen this film twice in the past 48 hours and I could easily watch it once more. It is the best film I've watched for a long long time. An epic story about a group of Jews who run away from the Nazis during WWII who's community grows over time. Based on a true story, it's a real good watch. Lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes, I can't say I thought it dragged on, I was actually disappointed that it ended.
