Its the top pick in round 3, and I disagree I see him late second/early 3rd Also I put 12 picks instead of 11 Cross Knox off
Shipley isn't built for the NFL. I can't right now definitively say that he will not translate to the pros, because, well he hasn't been drafted yet. However, his arms are too short to do much in pass pro, he lacks the strength and bulk to be very good in the ground game. He doesn't have tremendous agility or quickness either. He would be best in a zone blocking scheme, which we don't run. He is a very, very intelligent player who plays with a lot of passion, but in the NFL you need more than that....you can get guys like him without having to draft them, last year we got doug legursky.
So you are saying he is Al "Small" Johnson? If he is, then draft him, room him with Gurodes big stupid ass, and once the baby is born, you have the best C in the NFL
He's not a Jeff Saturday type. Really a converted OG (where he was average) He is a great brute Center who can block NT's and top big DT's on an island (one of the reasons why Im not worried about Haynesworth.....there was a reason why he stomped Gurodes face). he broke in as a C becauce Al Johnson was our starter and Parcells didnt trust him against 3-4 teams and teams with big DT's so he platooned with Gurode. Eventually Gurode became the better player. But Gurode is never gonna be a line leader because he is just not smart enough to make line calls. Thats Koiser's job and why the line struggled when he went down
all reports have the steelers and patriots showing considerable interest....i think hes gonna be a steeler, theyve shown the most interest
