Eagles CB Sheldon Brown To Stay Away From More OTA's?

The watch is on for Eagles CB Sheldon Brown and whether he'll show up at training camp -- or the rest of the required OTAs, for that matter -- because of his being upset over the lack of a new contract. We hear he could miss more of the OTAs but make it to Lehigh for camp, either on time or a few days late, but he would not be doing himself any favors. Lito Sheppard took a similar stance before last season and mostly rode the pine before being shipped off to the Jets this offseason.

trade him, he's not ready to be a leader of this team. hobbs will take the job any way.

Yea but were still in a better situation with hobbs there. If sheldon acted up we would have hanson as our replacement for him then who would be the nickel? Ikeguanu is haveing hamstring issues. We would be hecked.

Well I see that, but its just that Hobb's isnt anywhere near the CB Brown is like mastermason said

To me Hobbs is a good KR, and decent Subpackage CB in an average defence/ very good subpackage CB in a good defence

Yea well then i would put hanson as the starter and hobbs as the nickel. Hanson did well in the cards game last year when asante was out. Hopefully we dont have to think about it and sheldon keeps playing well.

Hanson is a very good player. He isn't as physical as Brown and just isn't as good in general, but the dropoff wouldn't be significant. Hobbs would be the number three.

This is just speculation and rumor at this point. I won't worry about Brown until I hear him say something.

Just from the one interview i heard he just said that he wont let the business side effect the team. He says he loves andy and his teammates but i dont know what to think he flip flops. He said before that they dont want him in that lockerroom then says it wont effect it.

i am not going to worry now either but we all know what happens to guys who go public with their contract demands.
