Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger Denies Skin Cancer Rumors

Ben Roethlisberger does not have cancer, and neither does he have a Facebook page. "There's no truth to it. I don't have any of that stuff," the Steelers quarterback proclaimed yesterday. "That stuff" are accounts on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and any other social networking Web sites. Roethlisberger said he does not use them, including the one under his name that proclaimed he had skin cancer. "I had a bunch of people ask me about it; obviously it's not true," Roethlisberger said after yesterday's spring practice. "We had to go on our Web site to let them know I don't have an account. There's nothing going on."

Regardless, I'm just glad that the rumors are false. I don't really get why people hav an obsession with setting up a facebook or twitter or myspace for an athlete or actor. I could understand a "Fan Page" or whatever...I just don't get it.

 

Roethlisberger sure does have a lot of "imitators..."

They just want to make it into the news somehow, gives them a good laugh. That's my guess.

I haven't been on facebook, but the effort it takes to create a myspace account is ridiculous. I just find it funny that Roethlisberger would "announce cancer" on his "facebook page..."

 

Even tho Ben has tonnes of money i would sue his butt for so much he cant afford it then has to go to prison
