i loved the evil dead series, but I will not go see that movie in the theatre

I saw Yes Man, I thought it was actually a decent movie and funny too. I also saw The Lucky Ones with Tim Robbins and Rachel McAdams about these 3 soldiers who are on 30 day leave and they each are on their own road, but due to circumstance, they end up traveling together and by being together they begin to come to grips with problems each one face individually. It was alright, nothing spectacular, but it was another decent movie

I will be watching stepbrothers tonight most likely.

 

just watched a hecked up movie called donkey punch

 

How was it? I almost rented it but heard that the British accents were so thick that it was tough to understand a lot of what they were saying.

 

in parts it was a little hard but overall i enjoyed the movie

 

i watched step brothers, it was funny. not the greatest movie, but funny

 

i watched The Matrix on TV :icon_lol: and got some ideas for the sig :laughy32:

saturday I watched

Night at the Museum 2 3/5 stars, didn't live up to the first one but it had it's moments lol

Friday I went to see

Drag me to hell 14/10 stars

if you love horror flicks you must see this, It had everyone jumping over, and over, and over, and over , once it started it hardly stopped, I didn't think to much of the movie until I watched it. I am planning on going to see this again this weekend *dance

I just watched Man On Wire. I liked it, but it could have been a bit shorter. That dude is nuts.

 

I think I may go see Hangover on Friday...

 

Did anyone expect that ending in drag me to hell?

I was like wtf no way it ends like this, somebody has to die or something else has to happen and then the next thing I know she falls down and the earth eats her!

The movie had a ton of quick camera shot, so they could try and make u jump and the sound was just jacked up in the theatre to try and scare people. The only time I jumped, and it wasn't really a jump was when she was in the shed and the grannydevil popped up and start puking all over her... But yeah that was like 1 out of 50 times... Seriously there had to have been at least 50 times where they had the quick camera cuts.

All that being said the movie was fairly entertaining and had some good laughs, I loved the scene where blood came gushing of out her face at work. and the scene where shes in the parkade with grannydevil was pretty epic.

 

fairly entertaining? it's one of the greatest movies this year thus far lol

well that's my opinion at least lol

it's not really the quick cuts that got me jumping, it's the points of the movie where they did it at. plenty of them I didn't even expect

 

How about the Goat scene? lmfao... The Goat was thinking to himself who are these freaking whacko's and why is this chain around my neck?

It's a really good movie, I was surprised that the theatre was pretty much empty, I guess people were watching up.

 

I think people thought the same as me, that it wouldn't be good or even great

It didn't look that great, but it made my day for sure

 

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button - 4 of 5 stars
Good stuff. Well acted, nicely shot, awesome story, and plenty of things that confused me enough that I want to see it again to try and figure out their meanings.

 

Is that the one where dude ages backwards?

 

Yes. And he's not just a dude. It's Brad Pitt. Total dreamboat.

 

i liked benjamin button as well, my wife didn't. I thought it was well done all the way through and the whole sequence where he went through if one moment was changed over several different scenarios, then the chick wouldn't have been hit by a car. I really got the feeling like it was something being read as the daughter was reading it in the hospital. and the lady revealing everything to her daughter in the hospital while katrina was going on outside.

side note, in the book, when he is born he is actually taller and big like an actual grown old man, not just a baby that looks like an old man in the movie. The lady who played benjamin's adopted mother did a great job as well. I would definitely see it again
