Not necessarily. They don't have a long-term commitment to him yet. If Thigpen outplays him and gives them a chance to win, they have no obligation to keep him the starter.
You'd think. But if he comes out and craps the bed...the contact's not reason enough to keep him in there...imo.
I agree....he doesn't strike me as the type of guy to stick with a player who can't get the job done.
