It has been rumored that the Ravens are interested in trading for disgruntled Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Without citing a source, Pro Football Talk reported that "rumors are flying in some circles that Marshall could land in Baltimore." Marshall reportedly has requested a trade and walked out of a Friday meeting with Broncos owner Pat Bowlen with several boxes of belongings. Source: Baltimore Sun
What do you think Ozzie? Right player, right price? All depends on the dollar amount. I say get the check book out Steve.
Damn, that would be a strong move for the Ravens. Especially with Lewis there to tighten Marshall's butt up.
While I would prefer to see our division become competitive because of the teams being awesome, I will settle for the disintegration of the other teams. :icon_cheesygrin:
This could be huge. This dude seems to have the situation covered: Reaction: Ravens May Have Interest in Disgruntled Marshall | Bleacher Report
Would be a strong move for the Ravens. I'm still not convinced that Flacco will be as successful as he was last season...
I'm not a fan of the Ravens doing anything to get better.....couldn't they trade for an aging locker room killer? Oh wait....Owens is in Buffalo and Ochocinco is still killing Cincy.
Lmfao, not only do the Broncos do nothing in the offseason to improve their crapty defense, McDaniels is hard at work dismantling the only reason the Broncos even competed last season. If Marshall goes, we'll have a second straight 0-16 team. Mark it down.
I notice how everyone seems high on this acquisition, but I dont know if its the best thing for the Ravens. The Bleacher Report states it will be a deal similar to the Roy Williams deal. That is alot to give up for someone that has been in trouble with the law as much as he has. Also he has already been suspended once, and I would bet my left nut that he will be suspended again in his career and the next suspension will be more like 4 games instead of 1. The gamble just seems to high for such a troubled player especially if Boldin can be had for the same price
brandon marshall is very talented and if he ever felt extra-motivated by having something to prove to an ex-team, he could be fun to watch.
