Im kinda torn on it. With Allen it would be hard for any team to beat us in the playoff's, but we showed when Garnett went down that we can play with the top teams minus one of those guys, plus Allens deal expires after the season (which is why we can probobly get a very high pick for him)

I would also be super pissed if we traded Rondo for Amare

phoenix wouldn't trade a big man for Rondo. As good as Rondo may be.

Most wont, Phoenix in that offence would

Plus alot of times the "dont trade bigs for smalls" doesnt apply if you are talking true PG's.

A smaller scale example.... Charlie V for TJ Ford a couple years back

lol well Charlie V is a decent gritty PF or isn't he a SF now, iunno but either way Ford was a much better player and is.

In this case Amare, the big man is a recognized as the much better player. I mean it could happen, the NBA has the dumbest trades out of any league. A lot of them have to do with contracts as opposed to logic.

Bingo. And Phoenix is all about economics now. Plus if they get Rondo, they could move Nash out.

Persoanlly I would want absolutely no part of that deal. This team need a selfish, defensively challenged, possibly greatly overrated (we'll see how good Amare is once he leave's Pheonix) like it needs Sebatian Telfair. I would much rather they just got Jefferson back

As for Charlie V. I think he was toronto's starting PF when they made that trade. I think Bosh played the 5 at that point
