The Broncos today signed free-agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, who played for the Chicago Bears last season after stints with Washington (2006-07) and San Francisco (2003-05). Lloyd, 6-feet, 194 pounds, has 156 receptions and 15 touchdowns in 79 career games, including 47 as a starter. Last season as teammates with new Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton, Lloyd played in 11 games (five starts) with the Bears, catching 26 passes for 364 yards (14.0 average) and two touchdowns. I think he had one good game last year...lol... It's amazing that he keeps popping up on rosters. I wonder if Orton lobbied for this signing or if they just went out and signed him...what a waste...
Lloyd was serviceable here in Chicago until he got injured, then when he came back, was never the Brandon Lloyd the Bears got the first few game of last season.
