Chick Ludwig of the Dayton Daily News speculates that the Bengals anticipate a long and arguably agonizing holdout from first-round draft pick Andre Smith. The Bengals have had long rookie holdouts in the past like defensive end Justin Smith who held out 50 days in 2001 and outside linebacker David Pollack who missed all of training camp in 2005. Anthony Collins and Dennis Roland will hunker down and share snaps at right offensive tackle in Smith's absence. Source: Dayton Daily News
he needs to humble up and be happy he got drafted where he did...hes hecked up alot and they took a chance on him, its not the time to heck up again
Just hearing this just gives me that feeling of being a complete failure. What is next? Showing up overweight and out of shape with preseason already underway? Saying it was his agents fault for the contract not being ready and him holding out? This kid is just screaming "I wanna be a NFL BUST!"
got to agree with Ward and MJ here, this guy has turned out to be a big flabby titted jackbutt...put down the box of ho ho's and sign a freaking contract you big fat pile of crap
The dude is mental...he's got the talent to succeed at the NFL level...he doesn't have the head for it at this point...he's more headed towards the tragedy side of things...
Looks to me like he's trying to make as much as he can before he busts and can't get a job anywhere outside fast food. This guy has zero chance of making anything of himself in my opinion. All the talent in the world, but you can't be this stupid and succeed in the pro's.
Well he got away with being Mr Baby Tits in his predraft workouts so I suppose he figures he can do whatever he wants now. Definitely not promising signs for a dude who hasn't done crap in the NFL yet. He definitely had good fortune on his side to get drafted where he did so he should eat some humble pie.......wait, nevermind. Keep all flavors of pie away from this guy! :icon_eek:
I say this kid is out of the league in 3 years for one reason or the other. I really hope he isnt since he does have the potential to be great, but with his lack of intelligence and his greed I really dont see any team dealing with him much more then 3 years
