Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post is reporting that some agents and players have told him that they wish that Vikings head coach Brad Childress would just come clean and let them know exactly what's going to happen with Brett Favre. Based on what Lombardi is hearing, Childress doesn't have total command of the locker room (some of the key veterans are not excited), and this Favre flirtation could turn ugly if it's not handled correctly.

They could be a good team even without brett favre they were last year. Brett might not even be an improvement if he plays the way he did towards the end of last year.

The Vikings have the defense to take them places. If a head coach is losing control of his locker room, thats not good. (good for the Bears, Packers, and Lions though) Then again, it's going to be crazy where ever theres talk of Brett Favre coming to your team and it goes on for months.

I don't think Childress is that great of a head coach anyways.

The players should know better. Brad comes from the Andy Reid School! They'll feel a lot like this guy...
