Only positive about the situation is i remember in this thread last year alot of mad comments on how much we suck lol and look what happened.

 

on a side and much better note. My dad just sent me a book that I think all of you should get. It is really awesome...

Wawa Exclusive Retailer Harry Kalas Book

He got the book at Wawa and he said it was the only place to get it. I hope there are still copies left for you all as it is an awesome read.

Each chapter is written by different groups of people from Harry's life. The prologue was written a by his family and Phillies president David Montgomery. The first chapter was written by broadcasters, the second chapter by former players, the third by members of the Phillies front office, the fourth by sports writers, and the final chapter, Harrypalozza, various people share funny stories about Harry.

They had a closed door meeting after the game last night and for the first time all year Manuel didn't meet with reporters. They seem fired up today. Hopefully it turns things around.

Werth and Feliz with 2 run jacks. 4-0 in the third.

J.A. Happ with a complete game shutout. He's now 5-0 with an era of 3.00. We needed that kind of start to rest the bullpen more than the 10 runs scored today.

 

Just watched that bomb over and over again :)

I'm wondering right now if I should add Happ to my fantasy team (which needs some pitching help anyway)

it really is a sweet book.

 

I looked for it today an it was sold out. I'll track it down somewhere.
On a side note, there it a History of the Spectrum book out that my brother got me for my birthday that is really nice as well.

 

I saw a few copies already on ebay

remembering harry kalas, great deals on Sports Mem, Cards Fan Shop on eBay!

 

I'll try to find it at a couple other Wawa...eBay will be my last resort...lol.
