A Brett Favre signing with the Minnesota Vikings is expected to be announced in time for the start of the team's single-game ticket sales July 20. Meanwhile, a little birdie heard that quarterback Brett Favre and wife Deanna last weekend made a $30,000 deposit on a condominium near 50th and France in Edina.

wtf? i've only been in a few times over the last several weeks. i thought the whole favre-drama would have died down by now but it still dominates the headlines. yuck. he's really destroyed his legacy the last couple of years.

i'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not........... i'm not sure if you're one of them, but there are some that will always put him on a pedestal no matter what he does. However, his spitefulness and immaturity over the last couple of years has really tarnished his legacy for me anyway.

As long as there is talk of Brett Favre signing somewhere, the Favre drama won't stop anytime soon, lol.

Well, I'd call you names, but I just regained my staff position :icon_confused:

Lawrence Taylor, Michael Irvin, and others did way worse things than Favre. They broke laws, did drugs, and stuff like that. Go ask Giants and Cowboys fans if they thing Taylor and Irvin's legacies are tarnished. They'll tell you FREAK NO!!

Brett Favre only has a little decision making problem. It's normal. I deal with people like that every day at work. They are good people, and good at what they do.

I rarely jump on the Brett Favre discussion because honestly, I don't understand what the big deal is. You say he's an attention tramp, well, if the media is at your door every day asking you stupid questions, what are you supposed to do?

I think Brett Favre has earned the right to do whatever the heck he wants to do. Not many people can earn that.

Agghh...no, I won't do this. Go on with your Favre bashing...I'll just watch and laugh as usual :icon_confused:

TJ I actually agree that this is no big deal...I think could have handled thing a little better over the last couple of years, but it's not like the guy is out committing crimes. Do I think he likes the attention, yeah probably, but If the media keeps reporting every move the guy makes, I put a much larger amount of the blame for the Favre drama on them. Personally if the guy wants to play, then cool...I've always loved watching him. I'm just so sick of every "potential" move he might make getting reported. It's at the point now where the media is not only reporting what he does, but everything they think he might do...who cares leave it alone...If he signs he signs, and everyone already knows he's going to so what's the big deal at this point.

I guess i dont see the see-saw act i mean he did say he was not going to sign with the vikings untill his arm is 100%, that it wouldn't be fair to them if he signed and then was unable to play so just chill out a little people he will sign when he is 100%
