He has the stats look at his Td to Int ratio its pretty damn good.

194tds and only 90 ints career

tom brady has 197 87 career

And Brady at this point isnt a lock for the HOF either imo.

Mcnabbs completion% is 58.9, just over 29,000 yds and a career QB rating of 85.9.....all pretty good, but not good enough to me.

WHAT? Brady could retire tomorrow and be a first ballot HOF and top 10 QB of all time.

  4. dolphindude13

Not by the #'s. Simply for the trophies maybe.

I don't see how you say maybe to Tom Brady. HOF isn't simply numbers if you watch him and you know your watching greatness his in the HOF in my opinion.

I pointed that out because BITB compared Mcnabb to Brady.....I didnt mean maybe as far as I was concerned. I meant maybe thats why he would get in over Mcnabb at this point.

I think it would be for the trophys cause mcnabb and bradys numbers arent far off and brady would definitely go over mcnabb.

I don't have the time or date, but I just posted a picture of when it happened.

    moon
    mcnabb
    mcnair
    vick
    cunningham

vick is being left off every list, he was never the best passer but he could win games

  12. AtlantaBlazer

That's why I would have him @ #6. His career wasn't long enough for me to put him over a man that actually won a superbowl (despite Williams having an average career).

Say what you want about McNabb, but give him a Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison (again) and see what he does. No offense to Manning, dude is good enough to get stuff done and then some.

Why isn't Daunte Culpepper even mentioned?
    What's the criteria for this?
Which one has a ring as a Starter in Super Bowl?
Which one is hall of famer?
Which one has best overall qb rating for career? For season?
Which one did the most for the NFL? For his race?

    Lot's of unanswered questions....

    **********Automerged Doublepost**********

    That being said.....
Moon gets my vote for number one.

    Culpepper was just forgotten...lol...

  17. AtlantaBlazer

    AtlantaBlazer Knuckles The Echidna's Brother

If Culpepper didn't actually blow his knee in 1 bajillion places, he had a chance to make himself a huge player. I would've put him in this list if it weren't for the fact that he, like Vick, has missed some years to solidify himself as a solid QB.

To me, this list should be about overall achievements, basically honoring the Top 5 QBs who happen to be black. I think if you were basing it off what they did for us as a whole, Doug Williams is #1, with Moon coming in second, simply because Williams' achievement came first.

I would agree with this but people never think of or forget what Moon did in the CFL...I forget what he won...5 consecutive Grey Cup Titles? I think he's accumulated 70,000 yards over the CFL and NFL. 9 Pro-Bowls...

Moon is the best hands down. I think a real debate begins at #2...unless McNabb can come up with another Super Bowl berth or a Super Bowl win...

    Can't believe I agreed with a Pat's fan. :icon_cheesygrin:

Moon is definitely number one. Depending on what McNabb does the rest of his career, I may put him in front of McNair.

  20. AtlantaBlazer

    AtlantaBlazer Knuckles The Echidna's Brother

I think it's pretty universal achievement wise that Moon is the best, because he can easily be looked at as one of the bests of all time. Nobody else on this list can be universally agreed as such.

From there, it's between McNair and McNabb, if McNabb can win a ring, he instantly becomes #2.
