Matt Bowen of the National Football Post writes that he is hearing the Raiders coaching staff is very high on quarterback Jeff Garcia and running back Michael Bush -- two players penciled in as backups but who might find their way onto the field. It's something for the starters to think about because competition is an aspect the Raiders need every day in practice. Source: National Football Post
I couldn't agree more, Bush was one smart draft choice by the Raiders, hopefully they use him properly. IMO they should shop Fargas and try to fill another position.
If J-rock has a good season and Bush contributes this upcoming season I think the 07 draft would be the best Raider Draft ever. J-rock,Miller,Bush,JLH are potential Pro Bowlers.
no doubt, given the chance Bush would be the best RB on the Raiders roster by quite a way, and was the reason i thought McFadden was a mistake.
i don't understand what the raiders saw in garcia, he doesnt have a big arm and they're all about the vertical game, it's why they don't win but still. IMO the rayders will suck until al davis is out of the picture
Jeff Garcia is a winner, and he's a solid veteran. He's smart and won't make immature mistakes...I thought it was a great signing for the Raiders.
What do you mean he won't make immature mistakes the dude is the biggest risk taker gambler out there with his squirt gun arm he makes tons of mistakes
