Washington Redskins coach Jim Zorn is taking a rare, but not unprecedented, step of allowing veteran players to sleep at home during training camp. Sixteen other NFL teams are holding training camps this year at their year-round headquarters but are requiring all players to stay in dorms or team hotels for two to four weeks, according to NFL Network. Zorn is bucking conventional wisdom in allowing players with four-plus years experience to make daily commutes from their own homes if they wish. "If I had a really young roster, no way wed be doing this," Zorn told NFL Network.

I kind of like this move by Zorn giving his vets an early morale boost. The only part I question is the fact that vets can get rookies and young players into a routine on what to do after their "football" day is over. All in all I think I like giving this a shot though

NOT a good move in IMO......Give Portis an inch and he'll take a mile. As soon as they start losing the Portis Zorn love fest of the off season will come crashing to an end.

I dont see it as a big deal with a team like the Redskins. It's not like their a team like the Eagles with no leadership on the roster.

i don't think zorn has command presence, i don't think his players respect him, i don't think snyder gives him a very long leash. all in all i'm pleased cause i hate the redskins!
