Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford received complimentary tickets to an NFL game while at Georgia, an NCAA secondary violation, according to a report. The NCAA defines a secondary violation as "isolated or inadvertent," and the matter is considered closed, the Athens (Ga.) Banner-Herald reported. Georgia fullback Shaun Chapas told the newspaper that Stafford received four tickets to the Denver Broncos-Atlanta Falcons game at the Georgia Dome on Nov. 16.

makes no sense, it says stafford asked cutler for tickets and he got 4, why is that even a violation? why is this even a story if the uni reported themselves?

Didn't melo nearly get in loads of trouble for offering OJ Mayo tickets?

Even though its not really a big deal as he was already there, it is cheating.

where does it say he asked cutler for tickets?

and another SEC conference gets self reported violations made to look like they are proforming satanic rituals
