Sheldon Brown, after skipping the team's voluntary camp last month and declaring his dissatisfaction with his contract before that, was among yesterday's arrivals. "Everybody knows how I feel, so there's really no need to talk about it," Brown said. "I'm here and I'm going to do what I've always done. I'm a great teammate. I play hard, I practice hard, and I try not to miss any time. I'm going to give you what I've got." Brown said he never considered holding out of training camp, and made the Eagles aware that he would be here by sending coach Andy Reid a text message a few days ago. "I have a good sense of humor," Brown said. "Obviously, everybody knows how I feel, but I'm going to do what I've done the last seven years, and that's what I do. I show up and I play football. I sent [Reid] a text to remind him how old I was. I wanted to know how long he was going to give me off." Source: Philly.com
