Giants, QB Eli Manning Agree On $107 Million Deal

Where I'll agree he is overpaid, dude is a winner. He may not put up the same numbers as Peyton, but he's got that "it" thing that Peyton has. He's the most important player on the Giants offense. I don't think he's nearly as bad as some of the haters are making him out to be...

 

The 15mil a year range is. That will be blown by soon, when Rivers, Brady and Peyton get theirs.

It's only like 3 mil more per year than he made last year. He's not really a crumbler (like someone we know *cough*puke*cough*). He's just inconsistent to begin with, lol.

 

With this contract he is getting payed more than peyton manning and big ben a year according to the video i saw on nfl.com. Even without the money i expect eli to crumble i cant wait :icon_cheesygrin:

I am not bitter at all... I think this is WONDERFUL news.... even if he doesn't crumble which I don't really expect him too... he will remain mediocre and inconsistent and after 3-4 years of winning nothing the NY media will turn on him and this contract will be seen for the lunacy we all say that it is.

Isnt being uncapped a good thing for teams with alot of money? Im pretty sure the owner of the eagles is pretty rich.

 

What people don't realize about being uncapped is that when you take off the ceiling... you also take away the floor

 

I could just imagine the crazy deals players will get and then players already under contract will want more money

Its a great day..the guys a proven winner 41-23 in reg season in the four full years hes been starting, 27-37 the four years prior without Eli. The 15mill a year is quite abit but it will soon be surpassed as soon as Rivers, Brady, and Peyton get their new contracts not to mention the guarentee'd money is 35mill which is less than Matt Stafford and even Terrell Suggs got.

We now have no QB worries for the next 6 years..how many other teams can say that, and how many wish they could.

that's ridiculous. He's an average QB. It was shown again when he lost plaxico. With an elite oline and a great WR he was still just a game manager, without those, there is no way he can carry a team on his own abilities. You say you have no QB worries for the next six years, I say there could be more worries than you are giving credit for. rose colored glasses my friend.
