The Reverend Jesse Jackson became the latest public figure to offer an opinion on the future of Michael Vick. Jackson said he wondered whether there had been collusion among N.F.L. owners to keep Vick out of the league. "I want to make it an issue," Jackson said Thursday in a telephone interview. "I want teams to explain why they have a quarterback who has less skills but is playing or at least is on the taxi squad, and a guy with more skills can't get into training camp."

Because the NFL is a business and the teams don't want a PR nightmare on their hands?

Its none of his goddam business how NFL teams run their houses - making things 'an issue' for the selfserving interest of maintaining your own antiquated relevance is not cool.

Jesse Jackson needs to keep his nose out of the NFL....why does he think anyone cares about his latest issues? He's such a joke. :icon_evil:

Why does he think Micheal Vick, who has been out of football for 2 years can jump right back in and play like he did in 2006? I doubt he's up to shape, use to being hit, etc

He's getting old anyways, his legs are going from all the hits he's taken from scrambling.

    Jesse, shut it.

This isn't an issue. You're completely misguided. No team wants mediocre out of the league QB's with questionable skills and declining athletic abilities WHO WILL ALSO BE a MAJOR PR nightmare that will create less money for their team.

    Signed,
    Everyone

STFU Mr Jackson. Go work on World Peace or Random Acts of Kindness, or whatever it is that you do. Nobody wants to take the MEDIA firestorm this will bring to who ever signs him. As stated before, no way he is NFL shape to perform. It's over, let it go.

Funny how that IF a WHITE person was in the same position as Michael Vick, had it all, threw it all away, and now trying to get it back, this wouldn't be a big deal to Jesse Jackson. Racist bastard!

A white QB who killed dogs would have a job by now as long as he gave a feigned apology.
