The Baltimore Ravens have released their first preseason depth chart and have listed Ray Rice as the No. 1 running back in front of seven year veteran back Willis McGahee.

So the baton has been passed? Rice better have a good year.

Did McGAYhee ever really have the baton??

I think Rice is going to be nasty...

I agree with you as far as Rice this year Ward. But, if Willie didn't have the baton who did?

McGAYhee's problem is that he was trying to carry the baton in his butt. He just doesn't have it. I thought Rice was going to be the #1 last year. I have been telling people to avoid McGAYhee for years and people are finally seeing that.

So that would be why he's been running so hecked up...lol. I agree 100% mike. I've been saying McGAYhee has been overrated for a long time as well. McGAYhee's got no speed and no power...

Chances McGahee is cut by the end of preseason? That's a lot of money to pay a back-up.

why would you waste his talent at fullback

    BTW, I knew he switched

    A. Because he is a better fullback, then RB, fullbacks still are allowed to get carries
    B. Ray Rice's talents would be wasted completely, if McClain was the RB, Rice would sit on the bench.
    C. McClain reported to camp at 270 pounds, even if he loses the 10 pounds he said he is, at 260 pounds, his body is more suited for short yardage and blocking, which is what a fullback does.
    D. OC Cam Cameron has said that he is better suited for FB and could even see time out at TE in certain short yardage situations.

mcgayfag has had decent power for his size and decent hands but this was bound to happen eventually

i like mclain as a RB though, hes not a great blocker but he runs with authority and great speed for his size
