that's right, I have been calling him jj stokes 2. lol stokes had some decent seasons, but was never the superstar he was billed to be.
JJ Stokes - huge college producer, size, hands, lack of speed. Was a BEAST coming out of school. The likenesses are uncanny, the only real difference is that stokes was 1-2 inches taller.
i think crabtree is more comparable to marshall than stokes to be honest. hes a little shorter but built pretty much the same...both run in the 4.5-4.6 range, both got good hands and good leaping ability and neither are any fun to tackle stokes was a little before my time though (when he was drafted anyway)
dude, marshall is 6-4 230 and crabtree is 6-1 215, he is in no way comparable to marshall. lol Stokes had a couple inches on crabtree, but they were basically the same weight. They both had "great" hands, not so much speed, insane scorers in college. Stokes was a top 10 pick by the niners too, but that part is just a nice coincidence.
ok but proportionally 6-4 230 and 6-1 215 are about the same....and both of them are "slow" for WRs....im just saying the comparison is there skill wise
ok im not comparing their size...its the skill set, the ability to leap, their speed, their hands. its no use lol
yeah but stokes is a little before my time (when he was drafted at least) this is what i have to work with damnit lol
Crabtree is no where near the freak Marshal is Marshal is a monster after the catch because he is 230 LBS. Crabtree was a monster because he got alot of 1 on 1's in college
